Who are we?
The Elder Tree is a not-for-profit organisation that provides transformative learning experiences from a deep connection with nature.
Since 2022, we’ve been empowering the local community with high quality educational workshops and events and sharing the wisdom of herbal practitioners via The Elder Tree Podcast and The Elder Tree Trove.
The long term vision is to build The Elder Tree Sanctuary on the Atherton Tablelands to create a legacy and model for healthy and environmentally sustainable living. We are currently raising the funds to purchase the land and set up the facilities. This will be a place for holistic healing and herbal education.

To provide a diverse array of healing practitioners who help heal and who also educate their clients
To show the community a way of life which is in harmony with the earth and all its inhabitants

The Elder Tree facilities will include…
Education
The Elder Tree will have a vast array of workshops, classes, courses and retreats in herbal medicine and other holistic health care modalities. There will be internships and live-in apprenticeships offered periodically.
Medicinal Botanical Gardens
Being in a subtropical climate, we are able to grow thousands of different species of medicinal plants. There will be a well signed botanical gardens set up as well as education provided about the uses of each of the plants.
Affordable Healthcare
We will run programs to assist children and low income earners to have access to free/affordable natural holistic healthcare options through our holistic multi-modality clinic.
